Midwest City, OK : Officer on motorcycle injured after being hit by vehicle in Midwest City on Friday, August 19, 2016

Police are investigating a crash involving an officer on a motorcycle in Midwest City.

The crash was near Southeast 15th and Douglas. Police said the officer was struck by another vehicle while responding to a call.

The officer was transported to a hospital.

Police said the officer, identified as Sgt. Matthew Meyers, is in stable condition.

He has multiple injuries, but is expected to be OK.
