Deland, FL : Deltona father, son critically injured in DeLand-area motorcycle wreck on Friday afternoon, October 3, 2014

Two people are in critical condition after the motorcycle they were riding crashed on State Road 472 in DeLand. Highway Patrol says a father and son were driving at a high speed when they lost control of the motorcycle near Minnesota Avenue. The 49-year-old father was taken to Halifax Medical Center and the 29-year-old son was taken to ORMC. No other vehicles were involved. Charges are pending the investigation.
