Rindge, NH: Ashburnham driver Killed by 54-year-old man struck car on Route 119 on Thursday evening, 6th November 2014

New Hampshire State Police say a 54-year-old man was intoxicated when he swerved over the center line and struck another car head-on, killing the driver. Police said the accident happened at about 6:40 p.m. Thursday on Route 119 in Rindge when a westbound car driven by 54-year-old David Hoffman of Ashburnham, Massachusetts, crossed over the center line and struck an eastbound car. The driver of that vehicle, 25-year-old Joseph Hautanen of Jaffrey, died at the scene. A passenger, 25-year-old Alyssa Collins of Jaffrey, was treated for minor injuries. Police took Hoffman to the hospital, where he was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. They are still investigating the crash. Source : Ashburnham driver charged in fatal crash
