A man was arrested Tuesday afternoon in North Highlands after crashing into two other vehicles, officials said.
The crash prompted the closure of the roadway.
The incident happened about 1:46 p.m. near the area of Hillsdale Boulevard and Frizzell Avenue, the California Highway Patrol said.
A Sacramento County sheriff’s deputy reported seeing a vehicle driving erratically in the area, but the driver got away before the deputy could pursue the vehicle, officials said.
The deputy found the car near the corner of Hillsdale Boulevard and Frizzell Avenue where it crashed into two other vehicles, authorities said. The suspect and another person from one of the other vehicles was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After further investigation, deputies found that the car the suspect was driving had been stolen.
