TYHEE, ID : Juvenile cited following crash in Tyhee on Saturday, 17th September 2016
No one was injured, but a juvenile was cited following a two-car accident at the intersection of Reservation Road and U.S. Highway 91 Saturday.
According to Idaho State Police reports, the crash happened at about 5:30 p.m.
A juvenile driver was traveling east on Reservation Road with an underage passenger and failed to stop at the stop sign, striking a vehicle driven by Erick Pena of Pocatello.
Pena was northbound on U.S. 91 in an older model Chevrolet pickup. He hit the embankment and rolled after being struck by the juvenile.
The occupants of both vehicle were wearing seat belts and no one was transported from the scene.
The juvenile, whose name was not released, was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
