McKeesport, PA : Man dies in vehicle crash in Bellevue on Saturday September 17 2016

A North Side man died in a crash on Route 65 in Bellevue, authorities said Saturday.

The crash was reported about 7:30 p.m. Friday, shutting down a portion of the highway between Shiloh and Farragut avenues for about an hour.

Michael Tavernaris, 45, died after being taken to Allegheny General Hospital, county officials said in a news release
