WALLINGFORD, CT : Car ran red light, crashes in Wallingford on Friday, December 2nd, 2016

A collision slowed traffic on South Turnpike Road on Friday after a car ran a red light.

Police said a while Chevy sedan was traveling south when the driver failed to stop and collided with a maroon Honda sedan as the driver turned north off Cook Hill Road.

Emergency crews responded around 2 p.m. One person was taken to Midstate Medical Center with a minor injuries.
