LOGANTON, PA : Woman killed in two vehicle crash in Greene Township, Clinton County on Sunday, 2nd January 2021
A 71-year-old Loganton woman succumbed to her injuries at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a two vehicle collision over the weekend in Greene Township, Clinton County.
On Sunday, Jan. 2 at 11:57 a.m., Leah M. Fisher was traveling south on North Mill Street near Pepper Run Road when she lost control of her 2005 Saturn Ion on a curve in the roadway, state police said.
Fisher attempted to regain control of her vehicle and was unsuccessful, traveling into the northbound lane and striking a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, police said. The driver of the Equinox was not listed in the report.
The impact of the vehicles caused Fisher’s vehicle to rotate and for her to be ejected from the rear window, police said. Fisher was taken to Geisinger Medical Center Danville by Flemington Goodwill Hose Ambulance Association where she succumbed to her injuries, police said. Police were assisted on scene by Lock Haven EMS, Sugar Valley Fire Company and Bresslers Towing.
