Las Vegas, NV : Driver is critical after crash in eastern valley on Tuesday evening, August 11, 2014

One person was sent to the hospital in critical condition after two pickup trucks collided this evening in the eastern part of the valley, Metro Police said. Officers were called to the scene at South Eastern Avenue and East Viking Road at 5:58 p.m. after one pickup truck ran a red light and hit another, Lt. Mark Reddon said. One of the drivers was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, Reddon said. The condition of the other driver was unknown.
