An unidentified woman died Saturday morning when the maroon 2002 Toyota Rav4 she was driving collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 75 near the Interstate 285 exchange in Marietta.
The wreck occurred around 3 a.m., according to Cobb County Police.
Both vehicles were traveling southbound on I-75 when the driver of the Toyota “made several erratic lane changes, collided into the driver’s side of the International tractor and lost control of the vehicle,” police reported.
The Toyota’s driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled over multiple times, according to police. She was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured during the collision.
