Henderson County, IL : One person injured following a two vehicle collision in Henderson County on Sunday, April 19, 2015

According to Illinois State Police, at approximately 4:43 a.m., a two vehicle crash happened near the intersection of Carman Rd. and Henderson 575 N. on Sunday.

The report states a blue 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier driving by 52-year-old Ana Berta Cisneros was going southbound on Carman Rd. then crossed the northbound lane, striking a red 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup truck driven by 48-year-old David L. Stevens.

The collision sent both vehicles off the roadway, landing on opposite sides of the road.

Stevens was transported to Great River Medical Center in Burlington, IA by ambulance according to the report.

Cisneros declined treatment and was placed under arrest by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Assistance was provided by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Lomax Fire and Rescue, Burlington Fire Dept., and Lomax Ambulance Service.

Cisneros was charged with improper lane usage, D.U.I alcohol, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
