FRESNO COUNTY, CA : 1 dead, 2 injured after DUI crash in Fresno County on Wednesday, 2nd August 2023

One person has died and two others were injured after a suspected DUI crash in Fresno County on Wednesday night.

The crash happened around 5:45 pm in the area of Clovis and American avenues.

The California Highway Patrol says a speeding Honda Accord crashed into the back of box truck stopped at the intersection.

The impact of the crash caused the truck to hit a third vehicle.

Investigators say a woman in the Honda was killed and the driver was believed to be under the influence.

The driver of the third vehicle had minor injuries.
