MISHAWAKA, IN : Bremen man dies in Saturday morning crash on Saturday, March 25th 2017

A 32-year-old Bremen man died after the car he was driving crashed at the intersection of Beech and Kern roads in southeastern St. Joseph County early Saturday morning.

St. Joseph County Police say their invesigation suggests Eric Faux was driving south on Beech Road around 2 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle as it went through the intersection at Kern Road. The vehicle left the roadway and crashed.

Investigators believe that speed was a factor, as well as alcohol. Faux was not wearing a seat belt.

He was transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later, according to police.
