QUINCY, IL : Snowy conditions cause one-vehicle crash on Sunday, December 4th, 2016

Two people suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon when the driver reportedly lost control in snowy conditions.

The Illinois State Highway Patrol reports that Craig Fields, 24, of Quincy, was traveling southbound on I-172 when he lost control of his 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck on the snow-covered road. The truck ran off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. Both Fields and his passenger, McKaylia Fields, 22, of Quincy, were taken to Blessing Hospital by Adams County Ambulance.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department and Payson-Fall Creek Fire and Rescue assisted.
