Martin, KY : Pedestrian killed after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 80 near Martin on Thursday night, June 18, 2015

Martin Police have confirmed to Mountain News the victim who was hit by a car in the crash near Martin has died.

We do not know any details about the victim or what led to the collision. The victim's body has been taken to the coroner.

Emergency personnel have cleared the scene and Highway 80 is now back open.
