Albany,NY : Guyanese woman killed after car hit by NY drunk driving cop on April, sunday 23th 2017

An off-duty NYPD officer is accused of driving drunk and causing a crash on Sunday that left two sisters in critical condition and another passenger injured, CBS News reported yesterday.
Guyanese-born Vanessa Raghubar, 22, of Elmont, Queens, New York, who was driving the car, died yesterday, according to other online reports.According to CBS, it was confirmed that 32-year-old police officer Neville Smith, who was driving a 2010 Mercedes-Benz, rear-ended Raghubar’s Honda as he merged onto the Van Wyck Expressway near Rockaway Boulevard shortly after 4 am on Sunday. Investigators said Smith was driving while intoxicated.
