UNION GROVE, AL : Huntsville man dies on April, Friday 14th 2017

Alabama State Troopers have identified a Huntsville teen as a victim of a fatal single-vehicle wreck that occurred Friday night on Gullion Road in Morgan County.

Jonathan Thornton, 18, was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was a 16-year-old female, who was also transported to a local hospital and treated for her injuries, according to The Daily's news partner, WAFF-48.

The wreck is still under investigation, and no other information was immediately available.
