Keene, NY : Northern NY man killed in crash Wednesday morning on Thursday, September 4, 2014

A northern New York man was killed in a car crash Wednesday morning. State police say Daniel Monaco, 35, of Jay, went off Route 9N in Keene, striking guardrails, a utility pole and a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner said Monaco died from blunt force trauma to the head. Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
