Second pedestrian hit and killed in two nights

Another person has died while trying to cross a Wilmington street.
It happened in the 1900 Block of Eastwood Road around 8:30 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found a 70-year-old South Carolina man lying in the road.Witnesses told police the man was wearing dark colored clothing and was hit by a Lexus SUV. The vehicle was headed west toward Military Cutoff Road.Police are not releasing the victim's name until they notify family.
