Shelby,IN : Crime Stoppers offers reward for tips in fatal Shelby County crash on may, wednesday 10th 2017

Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana is offering a reward for information about a crash that killed a New Castle woman in March.

Heather Poe died in the March 24 crash at Shelby County Road 325 East and SR 44. Witnesses say two motorcyclists were "doing crazy stunts" and passing traffic. Police say other cars hit their brakes or swerved to avoid the motorcycles. That caused Poe to brake hard and veer across the center line, where she was hit by an oncoming pick-up truck.

The motorcycles sped away, police say. They may have gotten onto Interstate 74. Both bikes were driven by men. A thin blonde woman riding on one of the bikes wore a fluorescent or safety green sweatshirt, police say. Both were cruise-style bikes like Harleys.

Police have been pleading for the public to come forward with information about the motorcyclists, but now Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for tips that lead to a felony arrest.
