A Grayson woman died in a two-car crash on U.S. 60 Friday night in the Thunder Mountain area.
Shelly Richards, 59, of Grayson, died in the 6 p.m. crash, according to the Carter County deputy coroner.
The roadway re-opened early this morning.
A red Honda Element was headed east and a white Toyota Highlander was traveling west when they collided, according to t the Kentucky State Place.
The driver of the Honda Element was Richards. No one else was in that SUV.
Two were in the Highlander, including one who was flown to the hospital. Another person was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Both of those people's injuries are serious, but not life-threatening, KSP said.
Richards’ body is being sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.
