Ocean City, MD : Scooter rider dies after crash on Route 50 on Tuesday, 20th August 2019

A 20-year-old Ocean City man died Wednesday in hospital after his scooter was hit by a car, Maryland State Police report.

Police said in a release Caleb S. Clark succumbed to his injuries Aug. 21 from the accident Tuesday night on Route 50 at Inlet Isle.

The accident happened at around 8:30 p.m. Aug. 20.

Police said Clark, who was driving a scooter, was hit by a Chevy Cruz driven by Regan P. Marti, 21, of Goshen, Connecticut, when he attempted to make a u-turn from Route 50 westbound.
