Two people aboard a motorcycle were killed in what a witness said was a high-speed crash on the Ventura (134) Freeway in Glendale Monday night. A caller to a Los Angeles Fire Department dispatcher said the motorcycle had passed their vehicle at an estimated 100 mph. Shortly after, the caller said he saw an explosion, Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Roger Fowble said.The collision was reported at 9:02 p.m. according to the California Highway Patrol.
