NEW ORLEANS, LA : 1 dead in motorcycle crash on I-10 W between Michoud and I-510 on Friday, 23rd May 2024

One man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday, May 24, on I-10 in New Orleans East, between Michoud Boulevard and the I-510 interchange.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, the crash happened around 11:16 a.m. on I-10 West. Police say the victim sustained fatal injuries after his motorcycle crashed into the median and he was ejected.

No other vehicles were involved.

Three lanes of I-10 West are closed as of 1:15 p.m. The far right westbound lane remains open.
