LAPORTE COUNTY, IN : LaPorte County single vehicle crash leaves one dead on Saturday, 5th October 2024

A Union Mills man is dead after a crash in LaPorte County.

The crash happened in the4400 West Block of County Road 800 South at around 12:30 a.m.

According the the sheriff's preliminary report the driver was traveling west on County Road 800 South. The vehicle traveled left of center, across the eastbound lane, and left the south side of the roadway. The vehicle then crossed a lawnand crashed into a utility pole and finally coming to a rest on a large rock.

Douglas Adams, 60, of Union Mills was pronounced dead at the scene.
