Anderson County, S.C : 21-year-old Woman thrown from car, killed on Tru Temper Road near Key Street on Friday night, September 26, 2014

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said it was investigating a fatal crash that happened Friday night in Anderson. Authorities said the wreck happened on Tru Temper Road near Key Street just after 10 p.m. Anderson County Deputy Coroner Josh Shore said 21-year-old Kristyn Smith of Belton died in the crash. Smith was driving a 1994 Honda south on Tru Temper Road when she ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree, said Corporal Bill Rhyne of the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Smith was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The victim was apparently heading to a friend’s house when the collision occurred. The highway patrol is still investigating. Source : Troopers: Woman thrown from car, killed
