A Georgia man died Sunday when the tractor-trailer he was driving on Interstate 81 near Shippensburg struck the rear of another tractor-trailer that was stopped on the highway, Pennsylvania State Police said. Richard Sullivan, 49, of Chatsworth, Ga., died as a result of his injuries, according to a state police news release. Sullivan was northbound near the 25-mile marker when the tractor-trailer he was driving struck the rear of another tractor-trailer that was stopped in the right lane, troopers said. The impact caused the stopped tractor-trailer, which was being driven by Marshall Ray Chapman, 33, of Newark, Ohio, to strike the rear of another tractor-trailer that also was stopped in the roadway, troopers said. Chapman suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital, troopers said. A hospital spokeswoman said Chapman was treated at the hospital and later released.
