Manatee County, FL : Alejandro Jimenez, 51, died after hit by car in Bradenton on Friday, May 1, 2015

Authorities have identified a man who died after he was struck by a car on Friday in Bradenton.

According to a report from The Florida Highway Patrol:

Alejandro Jimenez, 51, died after he walked into the path of a car at the intersection of 15th St. East and 32nd Avenue East in Bradenton at about 9 p.m. Friday. He was not walking in a crosswalk as he crossed the street and walked into the path of a 1996 Toyota Tacoma truck driven by Jean Altine, 49, of Bradenton.

Jimenez was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital where he died of injuries sustained in the crash. No charges will be filed.
