Las Vegas, NV : Six people injured after a multivehicle crash in the northwest valley on Thursday morning, February 18, 2016

Six people were transported to area hospitals this morning after a multivehicle crash in the northwest valley, according to Metro Police.

The wreck happened about 6:20 a.m. at the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard, police said.

Pictures from the scene show that the crash involved four vehicles — three SUVs and a pickup truck.

One person was taken to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, while three were taken to MountainView Hospital and two more to Summerlin Hospital, police said.

The northbound lanes of Buffalo were blocked just south of the intersection, and the accident still hadn’t been cleared as of about 8 a.m.
