2 dead, 5 injured in traffic crash in Macomb County

Two people are dead and five others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday in Macomb County, according to Michigan State Police.

The three-vehicle crash occurred at 3:25 p.m.on M-53 near Bordman Road in Bruce Township, Lt. Michael Shaw said.

Troopers and traffic crash reconstructionists were on the scene Thursday investigating the incident.

No other information was available pending notification of next of kin for all victims, police said.
