MACON COUNTY, AL : 18-year-old killed after being thrown from ATV in Macon County on Friday, 20th September 2024

An 18-year-old from Union Springs is dead after being launched from an ATV in Macon County Friday afternoon.

On Friday, September 20, at approximately 4 pm, the 18-year-old was operating a Yamaha Raptor 700 branded ATV on Boromville road when the vehicle left the roadway.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the teen struck an embankment, and a tree, and was thrown from the ATV.

ALEA pronounced the teen dead on the scene.
