Caledonia, WI : 23-year-old Milwaukee woman crashed vehicle into Sebastian's Restaurant in Caledonia on Friday, April 1, 2016

A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman crashed her vehicle into Sebastian's Restaurant in Caledonia at 4 a.m. Friday. The accident damaged both the exterior and interior of the restaurant, according to a Caledonia Police Department news release.

The vehicle was traveling east on 5 Mile Road when it failed to stop or slow down at the intersection with Douglas Ave. and continued directly into the restaurant building.

The vehicle's operator, Nichole Mattson, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, imprudent speed, failure to stop for stop sign and failure to maintain control, according to Caledonia police. She is being treated for injuries at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine.
