Maricopa, AZ : Man died after the car crashed into a Maricopa home's backyard pool on Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016

Authorities say a man has died after the car he was in crashed into a Maricopa home's backyard pool.

The car crashed through a brick wall near State Route 347 and came to rest inside a pool Tuesday morning.

Maricopa police say tire tracks show the car crossed the median and went up a hill before going through the fence.

They say the driver had medical issues, which played a factor in the crash.

The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital due to complications from the medical issue.

His name and age wasn't immediately released.
