Volusia County, FL : One person dead in pickup crash Route 1 Cedar Grove on Sunday January 10 2016.

Troopers were unable to identify who was behind the wheel of the Dodge pickup when it crashed into a pole and tree in Volusia County on Sunday.
The vehicle, which was headed south on U.S. Route 1, left the roadway and crashed near Cedar Grove Road, Florida Highway Patrol wrote in a release.Troopers did not know why the driver lost control of the truck or whether alcohol involved. The crash occurred around 12:15 a.m., troopers say.
After it struck the tree, the vehicle caught fire. The condition of the body prevented troopers from being able to identify the driver, said spokeswoman Kim Montes.
The medical examiner has said that the deceased driver is a male," Montes wrote in an email Sunday night. "Other than that, we have not identified him or the exact vehicle information due to the fire."
