Milwaukee, WI : 17-year-old Teen killed in early morning Milwaukee crash on Saturday morning, September 6, 2014
City police are investigating an early morning accident that claimed the life of a 17-year-old Milwaukee boy in the 3100 Block of W. Becher St.
Names of the drivers and the victim have not been released.
The 17-year-old's car was heading west on West Becher St. at 12:40 a.m. when it was hit by a fast-moving vehicle heading north which had failed to stop at a stop sign, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.
The teenager died from his injuries at the scene. Two other occupants of his vehicle were rushed to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries; their ages and identities have not yet been determined because they were not carrying any identification.
Police said the vehicle the victims were in at the time of the accident had recently been reported stolen from a nearby neighborhood.
The vehicle that hit theirs was driven by a 23-year-old Milwaukee man who suffered a non-life threatening injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
His 28-year-old female passenger was not injured and remained at the scene. Two other passengers in their vehicle ran off after the accident.
