PRATT, KS : Pratt driver injured in one vehicle accident on Friday, 3rd January, 2020

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a Pratt woman was taken to the hospital following a one-vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

At 2:42 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, a 2006 Buick Rainier, driven by Kimberly L. Sturgeon, 52, of Pratt was southbound on KS 61 when the vehicle died. The driver tried to turn the vehicle onto North East 70th Street where it fishtailed, entering the north ditch and striking a tree. Sturgeon was transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center with a suspected serious injury. KHP reports she was wearing a safety restraint.
