OROVILLE, CA : 1 killed in late night collision on Highway 70 on Wednesday, 14th October, 2020

One person is dead after a late night crash Wednesday on Highway 70.

The CHP said around 11:17 p.m., 27-year-old Tou Kue, of Oroville, was driving a 2007 Toyota Yaris north on Highway 70, just south of Chandler Road when he drifted onto the shoulder and then across the lanes, into the path of an oncoming car.

Officers said the crash killed his passenger, 36-year-old Chue Kue, of Oroville. The drivers of both vehicles had moderate injuries.
