Ventura,CA : CHP officer suffers minor injuries in Moorpark crash on June, Tuesday 6th 2017

A motorcycle officer with the California Highway Patrol suffered minor injuries in a crash in Moorpark, authorities said Wednesday.

The officer was headed westbound on Los Angeles Avenue and waiting in the right lane to turn onto Spring Road at 4:53 p.m. Tuesday when the crash occurred, patrol officials said. He was rear-ended by a vehicle going about 5-10 mph, authorities said.

The Ventura County Fire Department and Ventura County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident. Both the driver and the officer suffered minor injuries.

No arrests were made in connection with the incident.
