Saint Cloud,MN : St. Cloud woman hurt in Onamia collision on January, Thursday 11th 2018

A St. Cloud woman was taken to the hospital following a collision in Mille Lacs County Thursday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Kirsten Elizabeth Wiant, 31, of St. Cloud was traveling northbound at 10:11 p.m. on U.S. Highway 169 near Quail Road in Onamia Township.

A Chevrolet Silverado driven by Nathan John Strelow, 19, of Onamia turned from Quail Road onto northbound Highway 169.

When Wiant attempted to change lanes, she lost control and struck Strelow's vehicle.

Road conditions included snow and ice at the time of the collision, according to the State Patrol.

Wiant was transported to Onamia Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Strewlow was not injured in the incident.
