MOUNTAIN, WI : Appleton man dies following two-vehicle crash in Oconto County on Sunday, 30th June 2019

An Appleton man was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a car Sunday morning in the town of Mountain.

According to a Oconto County Sheriff's Department news release, at 8:12 a.m. officers were called to a two-vehicle crash on State 32 near Oconto County W.

The 61-year-old driver of the motorcycle was struck by a car driven by a 32-year-old Phelps man. The 61-year-old man died from his injuries on the way to the hospital.

The 32-year-old man was not injured, the release states.

The incident is being investigated by the sheriff's department and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s office.
