Cleveland, OH : 37-year-old driver and 38-year-old passenger died in crash near the Edgewater Park entrance on Sunday night, Sep 20, 2015

Police are investigating a crash that left two people dead Sunday night.

At approximately 9 p.m., the 1996 Lexus ES300 was traveling east on the Shoreway near the Edgewater Park entrance. The driver of the car was speeding when he drove off the right side of the roadway and into a marked construction area.

The vehicle overturned, rolled completely over and came to a stop on its wheels.

The 37-year-old driver and his 38-year-old passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities suspect that alcohol was involved in the crash.
