PORTLAND, ME : Motorcyclist seriously injured in Portland hit-and-run crash on Monday, 24th June 2024

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash at the intersection of Brighton Avenue and St. John Street in Portland Monday evening, and now police are trying to locate a car they say may have been involved.

Portland police said in a news release a 36-year-old motorcyclist was traveling west on Brighton Avenue and laid the motorcycle down "for an unknown reason."
