Bellemont, AZ : One person has died in a multi-vehicle crash west of Flagstaff on Interstate 40 on Monday August 25th 2014

One person has died in a multi-vehicle crash west of Flagstaff. Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Carrick Cook says the driver of a tractor-trailer failed to slow down in a construction zone on Interstate 40 near Bellemont and hit three cars. A 27-year-old man from Israel, who was in one of the cars, died. His name hasn't been released. The crash briefly shut down westbound lanes of I-40 on Monday. Cook says the investigation into the crash will include interviews with the driver of the tractor-trailer and an inspection of the vehicle. Six others were injured in the crash.
