Marion County, OR : One person dead in hit-and-run crash on Friday night October 2 2015

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are looking for two people who fled the scene of a crash Friday night that left one person dead.The deceased driver has been identified as 59-year-old Raymond Myers from Salem.
Deputies were called to River Road S and Riverside Drive S at about 7:20 p.m.
Two cars had been involved in a crash. The driver of one of the cars was killed. Both occupants of the other car fled on foot, deputies said.
An intense search for the suspects is underway. The roads in the area are closed and deputies advise people to stay clear of the area. Deputies expect the roads to be closed for several hours.
