Jacksonville, FL : Five people injured in serious three-car crash on Monday evening August 10th 2015

Five people were transported to the hospital after a serious three-car accident on Roosevelt Boulevard Monday evening.
According to police, the accident happened around 8:20 p.m. at 4500 Roosevelt Boulevard.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a car traveling southbound on Roosevelt Boulevard made a left turn into Roosevelt Square shopping plaza. It then collided with a car that was traveling northbound on Roosevelt Boulevard.
One of those vehicles was pushed into a third vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light about to pull out onto Roosevelt Boulevard.
A total of five people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, two of them were children ages 3 and 4.
All northbound lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard at the intersection of San Juan Boulevard were closed while police investigated the crash.
