LAS VEGAS, NV : Nevada State Police investigating deadly semi-truck crash at I-15 and St. Rose Parkway on Friday, 26th January 2024

Nevada State Police highway patrol officers are investigating following a deadly crash on I-15 on Friday afternoon.

According to a preliminary report, the crash involved a semi-truck and a pedestrian at the location of I-15 southbound and St. Rose Parkway just after 3 p.m. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital and died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police said that the driver of the semi-truck remained on the scene and is cooperating with the authorities.

All travel lanes are closed at 15 southbound, and Starr Ave. traffic is being diverted to the Starr Ave. off-ramp and can re-enter the IR15 southbound Starr Ave. on-ramp. Police said that motorists should expect delays and advised slowing down for first responders on the scene.
