Billings, MT : Driver killed in fiery single-vehicle crash near Malta early Friday morning, February 24, 2017

Authorities say the driver of a pickup was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Malta in northeast Montana.

The Billings Gazette reports the crash happened on U.S. Highway 191 early Friday morning when the driver went off the side of the road after failing to make a left turn. The truck went through a fence, hit a tree and caught fire.

The driver, whose name and age have not been released, died at the scene.
