Janesville, WI : One person killed in town of Beloit crash on Friday, January, 19th 2018
One person was killed Friday in a single-vehicle crash in the town of Beloit, according to a news release.
The crash occurred at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of South Paddock Road, town of Beloit. The vehicle’s only occupant was pinned and killed when the engine caught fire, according to the release.
The vehicle left the road and went into a ditch, where it collided with a concrete culvert that caused the car to flip onto its roof, according to the release.
The town of Beloit fire and police departments and the Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident.
The victim’s name is not being released at this time pending a Saturday morning autopsy.
