A man suffered disabling injuries in a one-vehicle highway traffic accident in which his 2000 Dodge Durango rolled numerous times early Friday afternoon in Topeka, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported.
Wayne Douglas Harris, 63, of Northboro, Iowa, was taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital, according to an accident report posted on the highway patrol website.
The crash occurred at 12:38 p.m. on Interstate 70, about 100 feet east of S.E. Adams, the report said.
It indicated Harris was alone driving the vehicle westbound on I-70 when it left the roadway on its south side, struck the barrier wall and rolled numerous times, coming to rest on its wheels.
Harris hadn’t been wearing a seat belt, the report said.
