Rice Lake,WI : Car crashes into Cedar Mall entrance on October, Wednesday 11th 2017

A vehicle crashed into the south entrance at the Cedar Mall in Rice Lake at about 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday. There were no injuries.


The crash, involving a small late model Volvo sedan driven by Robert D. Fitzpatrick, 48, of Rice Lake, was accidental, according to police officers at the scene. He told officers he fell asleep while driving.

No one was near the entrance near the Bath & Body Works store, although patrons heard the crash. The impact smashed most of the glass entryway, and the car sustained minor damage.
